Indications

Capmatinib is a MET tyrosine kinase inhibitor used primarily to treat:

• Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) :
  It is suitable for patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer carrying MET gene exon 14 skipping mutations.

Mechanism of action

Capmatinib selectively inhibits the activity of MET tyrosine kinase, blocking signal transduction associated with MET gene mutation in tumor cells, thereby inhibiting the proliferation, migration and survival of tumor cells.

Dosage

• Recommended dose : 400 mg orally twice daily.
• Directions : Take with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing or splitting.

Precautions

1. Genetic testing :
   • Before treatment, it is necessary to confirm whether the patient has a MET exon 14 skipping mutation through testing.
2. Side Effect Monitoring :
