Introduction: Ixazomib is a highly selective hazelnut ligand for myeloma. It was first approved for marketing in the United States on November 20, 2015. It is a drug for multiple myeloma. Clinical research data have shown that ixazomib combined with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (IRd) can significantly prolong the entire onset time and extend the patient's survival by 10 months.

【Specification】

【Indications】

ISADX is a prescription medicine used to treat multiple myeloma in combination with the medicines lenalidomide and dexamethasone in people who have received at least one previous treatment for multiple myeloma.

There is still uncertainty as to whether LION ISADX is safe and effective for children.

 

【Recommended dosage】

o Take ISADX exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to. Do not change your dose or stop taking ISADX without first talking to your healthcare provider.

o ISADX is done in “cycles”. Each cycle lasts 4 weeks (28 days).

o The usual dose of ISADX is 1 capsule once weekly, taken on the same day each week for the first 3 weeks of each cycle.

o Take all ISADX doses at the same time of day.

oTake REVLIMID (lenalidomide) and dexamethasone exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to.

o Your healthcare provider will do blood tests during ISADX treatment to check for side effects.

o Your healthcare provider may change your dose or stop your ISADX, REVLIMID (lenalidomide), or

If you have side effects, use dexamethasone.

o Take ISADX at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.

o Do not take ISADX and dexamethasone at the same time on the days you take ISADX and dexamethasone together. Take dexamethasone with food.

o Swallow ISADX capsules whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or open the capsules.

o Avoid direct contact with the capsule contents. If you accidentally get powder from ISADX capsules on your skin, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. If you accidentally get powder from ISADX capsules in your eyes, rinse your eyes with water.

o If you miss a dose of ISADX, or if you are late taking your medication, continue taking it more than 3 days (72 hours) before your next scheduled dose. If you are taking ISADX within 3 days (72 hours) of your next scheduled appointment, do not miss a dose.

o If you take medication after taking ISADX, do not take it again. Take your ISADX dose on the next scheduled day and time.

o If you take more ISADX than your healthcare provider told you to take, call your healthcare provider right away or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

 

【Included】

o Low stillness count (hypopnea). Low stillness is common in ISADX, and you may need to be noted for stillness if your stillness count is too low. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any pattern of low stillness counts, including hypoactivity and easy bruising.

o Stomach and septic (gastrointestinal) problems. Diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, and vomiting are common with ISADX and can sometimes be severe. Call your healthcare provider if you have any of these symptoms and they go away during ISADX. Your healthcare provider may prescribe medicine to help treat your symptoms.

o Neurological problems. Neurological problems are common with ISADX and can be serious. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any new or uncomfortable symptoms, including:

o Stinging

Numbness

o Burning sensation in the feet or hands

Your personal or VIP carefree

o Swelling. Swelling is common with ISADX and can sometimes be severe. Tell your healthcare provider if you develop swelling in your arms, hands, legs, feet, or if you gain weight because of swelling.

o Skin reactions. Tell your healthcare provider if you develop a new rash or if your rash gets worse.

o Liver problems. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any of the following liver problems:

o Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes

o Upper right hip

Back pain is also common in ISADX.

These are not all the possible side effects of ISADX. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects.

 

【Survivor】

o Store ISADX under daylight. Do not store above 86°F (30°C).

o Do not freeze ISADX.

o Store the ISADX capsule in its original packaging and open it when you need it.

o Ask your pharmacist or healthcare provider how to eliminate (throw away) unused ISADX.
