Introduction: On May 7, 2020, the US FDA accelerated the approval of MET IV capmatinib for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) carrying MET gene exon 14 skipping mutations. Capmatinib is a mutation-blocking agent targeting MET, including mutants generated by exon 14 skipping. MET exon 14 skipping leads to a decrease in the protein transcriptional regulatory domain, thereby reducing its negative regulation, resulting in a sharp increase in downstream MET signaling. Capmatinib inhibits the growth of isoforms activated by mutant MET variants lacking clinically achieved exon 14 and exhibits anti-tumor activity in a murine xenograft model of Istanbul human lung tumors, which has a mutation..

【Indications】

• Has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed by surgery (metastasis)

• Their tumors have abnormal mesenchymal epithelial transition (MET) genes

It is unclear whether CAMPAMDX is safe and effective for children.

【Recommended dose】

• Take CAMPAMDX exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to.

• Take CAMPAMDX twice daily, with or without a meal .

• Swallow CAMPAMDX tablets whole. Do not break, chew, or crush CAMPAMDX tablets.

• If you miss a dose of CAMPAMDX or vomit, do not make up the dose. Take the vomiting pill at your next scheduled time.

【Included】

• Lung or breathing problems. CAMPAMDX may cause lung inflammation, which can lead to death. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you have any new or uncomfortable symptoms, including:

o Cough o Fever o Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

If you develop lung or breathing problems during treatment, your healthcare provider may temporarily or permanently stop treatment with CAMPAMDX.

• Your heart disease. CAMPAMDX may cause abnormal results on heart disease blood tests. Your healthcare provider will do blood tests to check your liver function before you start treatment and during treatment with CAMPAMDX. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you have any symptoms of heart disease and heart problems, including:

o Your skin or the whites of your eyes turn yellow (constant yellow) o You haven’t had beauty treatments for a few days

o Dark or "tea-colored" feeling o Vomiting and stomach pain, soreness, or tenderness on the right side of the stomach (abdomen)

o Tiredness o Weakness o Stomach swelling

If you have cord problems during treatment, your healthcare provider may change your dose, temporarily stop, or permanently stop treatment with CAMPAMDX.

The most common consequences of CAMPAMDX include:

o Swelling of hands or feet o Eating o Tiredness and weakness

o Vomiting o Abdominal discomfort o Changes in certain blood tests

【Survivor】

• Store CAMPAMDX at temperatures between 68°F and 86°F (20°C and 30°C).

• Protect CAMPAMDX workstation ventilation.

• Throw away (discard) any unused CAMPAMDX that remains 6 weeks after you first open the bottle.
