Introduction: Osimertinib is a third-generation irreversible epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). It is currently the first-line treatment for advanced lung cancer with EGFR sensitive mutations and the second-line treatment for lung cancer with T790M mutations after first- or second-generation TKI treatment. The median progression-free survival (PFS) time reached 18.9 months and 10.1 months, respectively, bringing hope to some patients with advanced lung cancer.

【Specification】

[Indications] OYSIENDX is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)

Having certain abnormal growth factor receptor (EGFR) genes:

• Helps prevent lung cancer after lumpectomy

• As your first treatment when your lung cancer has spread to other parts of your body (metastatic)

• When your lung cancer has spread to other parts of your body (metastatic)

• Before EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment failed or had no effect

Your healthcare provider will do tests to make sure OYSIENDX is right for you.

There is no information available yet on whether SANTA OYSIENDX is safe and effective for children.

 

【Recommended dose】

• Take OYSIENDX exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to .

• Your healthcare provider may change your dose, temporarily stop treatment, or permanently stop treatment

If you have problems, use OYSIENDX .

•Take OYSIENDX once daily .

•You can take OYSIENDX with or without a meal .

• If you miss a dose of OYSIENDX , do not make up the missed dose. Take your next dose at your regular time.

•If you are unable to swallow the OYSIENDX tablet whole: 

o Put the OYSIENDX you bring in a container with 60 ml (2 ounces) of water. Do not use carbonated water or any other liquid. 

o Stir OYSIENDX tablet and water to dissolve OYSIENDX tablet into small pieces (tablet will not completely dissolve). Do not crush, heat, or use a nozzle to prepare the mixture.   

o Immediately support the mixture of OYSIENDX and water. 

o Add 120 ml to 240 ml (4 to 8 oz) of water to the container and front to ensure you are carrying all of your gear with OYSIENDX .

 

【Included】

OYSIENDX may cause serious effects, including: 

• Severe blistering or peeling of the skin. If these occur, seek medical attention immediately.

• Target symptoms. For skin reactions that look like rings , seek medical attention immediately.

The most common side effects of OYSIENDX are: 

•Low white blood cell count • Mouth ulcers • Diarrhea

•Persistently low stats •Dry skin •Rash

• Pain in bones, bones, or joints • Fatigue • Cough • Low red blood cell count (anemia)

• Nail changes, including: redness, tenderness, pain, inflammation, brittleness, separation from the nail bed, and nail shedding

Tell your healthcare provider if you have any problem that bothers you or does not go away.
