Introduction: Deucravacitinib is a new drug used to treat autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune diseases are a class of diseases caused by abnormal immune system attacks on normal tissues and organs of the body, such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis and Sjögren's syndrome. Deucravacitinib belongs to a class of drugs called JAK inhibitors. JAK is a tyrosine kinase that is involved in regulating the signal transduction pathways of immune cells. By inhibiting the activity of JAK, Deucravacitinib can interfere with the inflammatory and immune processes and effectively control the symptoms of the disease.
