【 Main ingredient 】Dapagliflozin……….10 mg.

【 Indications 】

• To reduce the risk of sustained eGFR decline, end-stage renal disease, cardiovascular death, and hospitalization for heart failure in adults with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression.
• Reduce the risk of cardiovascular death, heart failure hospitalization, and urgent heart failure visits in adults.
• To reduce the risk of heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes and comorbid cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors.
• As an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

【 Usage and Dosage 】

1. Blood sugar control: Oral administration, preferably in the morning, with a starting dose of 5 mg once a day. Depending on blood sugar conditions, the dose can be increased to 10 mg once a day.
2. Heart failure: Oral, 10 mg each time, once a day.

【 Taboo 】

1. History of severe hypersensitivity reactions.
2. Contraindicated for dialysis patients.

【 Notes 】

1. This product is not suitable for type 1 diabetes or type 1 diabetic ketoacidosis.
2. Dapagliflozin may cause an osmotic diuresis, which may result in hypovolemia.
3. Concomitant use with sulfonylureas or insulin may cause hypoglycemia.
4. Genital fungal infections.
5. Watch out for necrotizing fasciitis of the perineum.
6. Use with caution in pregnant or lactating women.
7. Use with caution in children.
