Abemaciclib is a selective inhibitor of CDK4 and CDK6 for the treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer .

Mainly used for treatment

1) Hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative, lymph node-positive, and high-risk early breast cancer.

2) Hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

How to take abemaciclib?

The starting dose is 150 mg twice a day;

Swallow the tablet whole, either on an empty stomach or with food, and try to take it at the same time every day;

Abemaciclib should not be taken with grapefruit or grapefruit juice;

If intolerable adverse reactions occur, the first dose can be reduced to 100 mg and the second dose can be reduced to 50 mg.
